WHY CHOOSE MICROSUCTION?
Microsuction is the safest and most successful procedure available for the removal of wax and debris from the ear canal. It is a skilled and specialised technique and should only be performed by an appropriately trained Health Professional.
We provide effective treatment for conditions such as;
• Blocked Ears - Wax/Foreign body
• Infection - Recent Otitis Externa causing a build-up of infective debris within the canal
• Mastoid Cavity - Cavity clearance and maintenance
• Hearing Aid - Whistling and feedback can be resolved by the removal of problematic wax
WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF IMPACTED EAR WAX?
Hearing loss
Earache
Sense of ear fullness
Itching in the ear
Dizziness
Ringing in the ears
Cough
In most people, a small amount of ear wax regularly makes its way to the opening of the ear, where it's washed away or falls out as new wax is secreted to replace it. If you secrete an excessive amount of wax or if ear wax isn't cleared effectively, it may build up and block your ear canal.
YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY
The safety of our clients is always paramount to us. We have always strictly adhered to our health and safety policies and infection control procedures. These policies and procedures are being updated to include COVID Secure and the guidelines released from the Government.
We will deliver all treatments in line with the Government guidelines. We will follow the advice from Public Health England and the NHS in regards to the appropriate use of PPE and wherever possible social distancing will be maintained.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED
Appointments are 30 minutes in duration but often the procedure itself can take just a few minutes. We like to ensure each patient is given the time they need to ask any questions and be fully cared for. Every patient is different and some treatments last longer depending on several factors.
In-clinic appointments cost £60. We also offer home visits within a 2-mile radius, these cost £85.

TOP TIP
Don't use cotton buds to clean your ears. Ear wax blockages commonly occur when people try to clean their ears on their own by placing cotton swabs or other items in their ears. This often just pushes wax deeper into the ear, rather than removing it.
